As a Graduate Student (2021):
Played in 22 games, 20 of which were starts… hit .177 with a home run and 10 RBIs… reached base at a .320 clip and slugged .274… turned in a .995 fielding percentage behind the plate… went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks against UMass Lowell (Feb. 27)… tallied hits in all three of his appearances against Sacred Heart and drove in three runs during the series finale (March 5-7)… hit a solo shot in the series opener against Fordham (March 19)… singled, walked twice and scored a run against Georgetown (April 17)… went 2-for-3 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored against Butler (May 14)… singled and drove in a run against Villanova (May 21).
As a Senior (2020):
Played in 12 games and made 11 starts in the Red Storm’s shortened season… hit .256 with a .289 on-base percentage… slugged .372… tallied a home run, two doubles and seven RBIs... logged three consecutive multi-hit games in three Red Storm wins over Georgia Tech and California (Feb. 16, Feb. 21 and Feb. 22)… drove in three runs in the season finale against Iona (March 11).

Before College:
Three-year letterwinner at Brockport High School… named to the all-county first team in 2015 and 2016 and First Team All-Greater Rochester in 2016… also a four-year standout for the Brockport hockey team… a two-time first team all-county selection and the Section V Hockey Player of the Year in 2016… led the Blue Devils to a Section V Championship on the ice in 2015… two-year team captain in both hockey and baseball.

Mitchell James Henshaw… son of Paul and Sue… has two brothers, Brandon, who played baseball at St. Bonaventure University, and Tyler… chose St. John’s for its winning tradition and the opportunity to receive a great education… a member of the President’s List at Potomac State College… lists his parents as the people he admires most and Pat Tillman as his favorite athlete… majoring in business… aspires to be a college baseball coach.
