Selected for Preseason All-BIG EAST Honors… Named BIG EAST Player of the Week (April 14)... Started in 52 games for the Red Storm… Slashed a .284/.410/.408 with 52 hits… Registered 42 runs scored coupled with 31 RBIs and two home runs for the season… Went 2-for-4 with a home run and added one RBI against NJIT (March 7)... Went 2-for-3 with two doubles, three runs scored and added an RBI in the victory over Maine (March 16)... Scored twice on three hits and added two RBIs in the victory at Winthrop (March 22)... Appeared in 16 games with 14 starts as an infielder in an injury-shortened season… Batted .321 with two home runs, three doubles and eight RBIs… Reached base at a .356 clip and slugged .482… Logged his first collegiate hit and RBI at UNCW (Feb. 20)… Notched two hits in back-to-back games against Oregon (Feb. 26-27)… Hit his first collegiate home run and tallied two RBIs in a 2-for-4 effort at San Francisco (March 4)… Capped off a seven-game hit streak with a 3-for-5 performance against Sacred Heart (March 18).
Before College:
Played five years of baseball and served as team captain for three seasons at New Hyde Park High School… named to three all-county teams, one all-conference team and one Newsday All-Long Island team... the no. 29 recruit in New York according to Perfect Game... hit .489 with eight home runs and 21 RBIs as a senior... walked 19 times, 12 of which were intentional... also excelled on the mound, going 3-1 with 52 strikeouts in 23 innings with a 0.91 ERA.
