As a Graduate Student (2024)
Appeared in 38 games, making 32 starts … drew a pinch-hit walk and scored in St. John’s upset over No. 2 Florida (Feb. 16) … went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI against Iona (March 5) … followed up with another two-hit, two-run performance with a pair of RBIs and a home run against Hofstra (March 8 – Game 2) … smacked a three-run homer, part of a 2-for-3 day at the dish with a pair of walks and a stolen base against Rider (March 16) … scored three times in series finale against the Broncs (March 17) … crossed home plate twice against Winthrop (March 30 – Game 2) and at Villanova (April 5) … drove in three runs at Villanova (April 6) … smacked an RBI double and drew a walk off the bench at Seton Hall (May 12) … doubled and scored in 2-for-3 day against Fairfield (May 14) … went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored against Mississippi State (June 2) in the NCAA Charlottesville Regional elimination game.

Paul Anthony Orbon… son of Paul and Andrea Orbon… has three younger siblings: Luke, Eric and Ava… a member of the National Honor Society in high school and a member of the Scholars Program at St. John’s… a member of Emmaus, Chaminade’s community service club… also a member of the social studies and culinary clubs… his father, Paul, played baseball at Columbia… chose St. John’s because of family connections to the University and the baseball program… lists his parents as the people he admires most and Mike Trout as his favorite athlete… plans to major in marketing.
