As a Redshirt Junior (2023)
Appeared in 14 games, starting 11 … accumulated a record of 3-2 with a 5.13 ERA … earned one BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll … claimed his first win of the season after going six innings and giving up one run on three hits with eight strikeouts against Quinnipiac (March 19) … gave up one run in 3.1 innings while ringing up two batters against Richmond (March 26) … picked up a win in his last start of the season, pitching seven innings and surrendering two runs to go with six punchouts against Butler (May 19) … BIG EAST Academic Honor Roll
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2022):
Returned from Tommy John surgery to pitch in eight games, three of which were starts… went 2-2 with 10.26 ERA… struck out 16 batters and walked 12 in 16.2 innings… made his season debut against Wagner, striking out six in 3.0 perfect innings to pick up the win (March 23)… improved to 2-0 by allowing only one run in 2.0 relief innings against Quinnipiac (March 27)… struck out two batters in 1.1 shutout frames against Marist (May 3).
As a Redshirt Freshman (2021):
Missed most of the campaign due to season-ending Tommy John surgery in April… went 1-0 with a 7.00 ERA in four appearances, two of which were starts… struck out 11 and walked nine in 9.0 innings of work… help opposing hitters to a .258 batting average… struck out three in 2.0 innings of one-hit relief against UMass Lowell (Feb. 26)… picked up his lone win of the season with 4.0 frames of one-run work against Sacred Heart (March 7).
As a Freshman (2020):
Made five appearances, one of which was a start, during the Red Storm’s shortened season… went 1-0 and did not allow an earned run over 12.2 innings of work… struck out nine batters and walked only three… held opponents to a .200 batting average… made his collegiate debut with 2.0 scoreless innings at Georgia State (Feb. 15)… struck out three in 3.0 frames of one-hit work at Charlotte (Feb. 28)… made his first career start against Saint Peter’s, striking out five, walking one and allowing just one hit over 6.0 innings of work (March 10).
Before College:
Three-year letter winner at Old Bridge High School… NJ.com Greater Middlesex Conference Player of the Year as a senior … GMC Baseball Coaches Association’s Zach Attianese Memorial Cy Young Award winner… led the Knights to a GMC Tournament Championship as a team captain his senior season… allowed just five earned runs in 67 innings pitched, striking out 74 and scattering 26 hits… the no. 26 recruit in the state of New Jersey according to Perfect Game.

William Anthony Fauci… born on Staten Island… son of Tara and Bill Fauci… has a younger sister, Alyssa… chose St. John’s because it felt like the right fit… graduated in the top 10 percent of his high school class… a member of Future Business Leaders of America and his high school’s Athletic Leadership Committee… lists his father as the person he admires most and Alex Rodriguez as his favorite athlete… plans to major in accounting.
