As a Redshirt Junior (2023):
Made nine appearances in relief for the Red Storm … registered 6.2 innings, allowing five earned runs to an ERA of 6.75 … recorded a team low .130 batting average against in this outings … claimed the win in his first appearance of the year while striking out three in one inning of work against Tulane (Feb. 24) … struck out two in 0.2 innings of relief against Hofstra (March 8) … reitred the side in order with one strikeout against Fairleigh Dickinson (April 19) … BIG EAST Academic Honor Roll
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2022):
Played in 26 games as both a pitcher and position player with one start as a designated hitter and three starts on the mound… tallied one walk and two runs scored as a hitter… went 1-5 with an 8.12 ERA… struck out 36 batters and walked 32 in 37.2 innings of work… held opponents to a team-best .198 batting average… Fanned six batters in 3.2 innings at Oregon (Feb. 28)… collected three punchouts in 1.1 innings in the win over Wagner (March 23)… worked 3.1 scoreless frames to pick up his first win of the season at Hofstra (April 12)… tossed a shutout inning with three strikeouts against Fairleigh Dickinson (April 20).
As a Redshirt Freshman (2021):
Played in 28 games and made 25 starts… batted .270, good enough for fourth on the team… reached base at a .320 clip and slugged .303… drove in nine runs on the season and scored nine… also made two appearances on the mound, going 0-1 with a 11.57 ERA in 2.1 innings pitched… had a pair of three-hit games… went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in the series finale against Western Carolina (March 14)… doubled and drove in a run at Fordham (March 20)… picked up a hit in all three games against Xavier (April 9-11)… drove in a pair of runs against Seton Hall (April 24)… singled twice and scored a run in back-to-back outings against Creighton (April 30-May 1)… singled and drove in a run in the series finale against the Bluejays (May 2)… singled and scored a run in the series opener against UConn (May 7)… went 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored against Butler (May 14)… drove in a pair of runs in the series finale with the Bulldogs (May 15).

35th round draft pick (1,051st overall) of the Los Angeles Angels in 2019… a team captain at Red Bank Catholic High School, where he led the team to Shore Conference and Division Championships in 2019… a Third Team All-State selection and First Team All-Non-Public by NJ.com as a senior… pitched and played short stop for the Caseys… helped lead the team to Monmouth County Championships in 2017 and 2018… the no. 14 recruit in the state of New Jersey and the no. 330 recruit nationally according to Perfect Game… also chosen by the publication as a Preseason All-Northeast Region First Team selection in 2019.

Vincent Fabio Bianchi… born on Staten Island… son of Monica and Dr. Giulio Bianchi… has two older siblings, Giulio and Sofia… chose St. John’s for the program’s history of developing players and winning atmosphere… top 10 in his high school class and a member of the National Honor Society… lists his parents as the people he admires most and Mike Trout as his favorite athlete… aspires to either play professional baseball or become an orthopedic surgeon.
