Before St. John's: Led the team to a 20-6 record as a junior captain under Coach Reggie Dawson... Ranked 17th nationally at her position by ESPN Hoopgurlz... Named All-City and Second Team All-State as a senior... Captained team to a 20-8 record, inlcuding a 6-2 mark in conference... Propelled the Eagles to the Chicago Public League Championship Game in 2013-14... In the semifinal, Wellere paced a Brooks comeback, finishing the game with an astounding 37 points and nine rebounds.. During her junior season, Wellere averaged 26.7 points, 12.4 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game, scoring in excess of 40 twice and recording three triple-doubles... Named First Team All-City and Second Team All-State as a junior.
