Lauren Lordi was named the Assistant in the Student Development for Athletes Office in May of 2022. Prior to her hiring, Finegan had been serving as a graduate assistant since 2021.

In her role at St. John's, Lordi is responsible for all general office operations in the Student Development for Athletes Office. She supervises all part-time workers and tutors in addition to serving as a resource for the development team, coaches, staff and 350 student-athletes.

Lordi received her undergraduate degree in psychology, with a dual minor in sociology and international studies, in May of 2020. As an undergrad, she served as the student director and social media coordinator of the St. John's Pep Band. Lordi was also a student worker for Transfer Student Services before she began working in the Student-Athlete Development Office as a tutor.

During her time as a graduate assistant, Lordi completed her master's degree in criminology and justice. She was also presented with the Athletic Department's Spirit Award at the Annual Awards Banquet. Currently, Finegan is pursuing a master's degree in business administration.
