Dr. Nancy Kaplan serves as the Associate Provost at St. John's University. In this role she is responsible for overseeing the Student Development program for athletics, which encompasses academic support, leadership development, career preparation, personal support, sports psychology and community service activities.
Dr. Kaplan also serves as an adjunct assistant professor in the College of Professional Studies. Her academic credentials from St. John's include a Doctor of Education degree, Professional Diploma in Educational Administration, Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science.
She was a member of the St. John's women's basketball BIG EAST Championship team in 1988.
Dr. Kaplan and her husband Lenny, the Director of Athletics at NJIT, are the proud parents of two children, Michael and Joshua.
