On tonight's game:
"I was really proud of our team. This was a great win for us. We were flat on offense but we really came together on defense. We made free throws at the end that won the game. Pittsburgh is a quality team. They made great strides from last year and have had great wins. So I was really happy the way we played down the stretch."
On the double bonus:
"I thought that was a great job by us. They caught up really quick though. We were shooting in the double bonus with four minutes to go and that made a different at the end of the game."
On the team:
"The strength of this team is our depth. We've never had that before and I think it has taken some time for the players to appreciate that and understand that. On any night it could be someone else's night and that's what makes us so strong and so special as a team."
On Monique McLean: "Monique has been giving us great minutes all year long and tonight she came in and was a spark for us. She did a great job defensively as well as offensively. Her 3-pointer put us over the edge and took the wind out of Pittsburgh's sails."
On Lisa Claxton:
"Lisa doesn't have to score a point for us to be a successful team but she controlled everything and she distributed the ball so well. She did a tremendous job plus she made all her free throws."

On St. John's performance:
"St. John's came really prepared for the game. They were awesome off the glass and they made free throws. Those are two things you have to do to win games in the BIG EAST and they did that tonight."
On her team:
"Our kids are young and they've got to learn to be prepared every game. The only way they are going to learn is to get out there and play. We've had a couple of really tough games and our schedule has been tough this week. We just played two running teams in DePaul and South Florida. They are some of the highest scoring teams in the nation and we hung with them. We just played away on Sunday and you have to go back on the road again, it was tough for us."
