Francis Finishes Sixth In Heat At USA Junior Nationals

Freshman Fayanne Francis, a jumper on the Red Storm???s track and field team traveled to the Michael A. Carroll Track and Soccer Stadium at Indiana University-Purdue University Indiana to compete at the 2007 Finish Line USA Track and Field Junior Nationals.
Competing in the long jump event, Francis finished sixth in her heat and 13th overall with a distance of 5.55 meters. Jamesha Youngblood finished first in the event with a distance of 6.31 meters.
