Hauk Leads Red Storm At Columbia Classic

NEW YORK, N.Y. - Sophomore Milo Hauk won three matches to make his way to the A-Singles finals as the St. John's men's tennis team competed at the Columbia Invitational on Oct. 9-11.
Mike Lampa won a pair of matches in B-Singles action, including a victory over teammate Derek Wallensteen in the quarterfinals, before he was eliminated in the semifinals by Matt Siow of Princeton, (6-1, 6-2).
Hauk also competed in A-Doubles with teammate Pavel Cerny, as the duo picked up a win in the quarterfinals after a first-round bye before falling in the semifinals.
Martin Kosut went on to win the A-Singles consolation bracket after a first round defeat.
St. John's will continue play on Oct. 9-11 in the Columbia Invite in New York, N.Y.
