QUEENS, N.Y. -
• After scoring 15 points against Boston University, Da'Shena Stevens has scored 10 or more points in eight-consecutive contests dating back to 2008-09.
• Centhya Hart recorded her first-career double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
• The Red Storm received solid contribution from its bench, which accounted for 37 of the team's 80 points.
• With Stevens (15), Joy McCorvey (12), Shenneika Smith (12), Nadirah McKenith (12) and Hart (10) all in double figures, the Red Storm has had four or more players score 10 or more points in two-straight games. St. John's had three or more players score in double figures in six-consecutive games dating back to last season.
• Freshman Amanda Burakoski scored the first points of her collegiate career on a 3-pointer from the right corner at the 10:43 mark of the second half.
• Sophomore Elon Sidney netted the first points of her career when she hit a 3-pointer with 13 seconds left in the game.
• The Red Storm outscored Boston University 20-12 over the first nine minutes of the second half to take its first 20-point lead of the game at 59-39.
• St. John's did much of its scoring down low, with 38 of its 80 points coming in the paint.
