QUEENS, N.Y. - The defending BIG EAST Tournament champions, St. John's (9-8) takes a four-game winning streak into the start of conference play as it hosts a three-game set against Cincinnati (10-8) at Jack Kaiser Stadium this weekend. The series opens with a 3 p.m. game on March 25 before a 1 p.m. contest on March 26. The series concludes on March 27 with first pitch scheduled for noon.

- A season after posting a 22-3 record at The Jack, the Red Storm is 2-0 at home thus far this season.
- The Red Storm has posted a 107-50 (.682) record in BIG EAST play in the past six seasons, a stretch in which the squad also won three regular season crowns (2005, 2007, 2008).

- Wessinger batted a team-best .474 (9-for-19) with four doubles, one home run, three runs scored and three RBI. The second baseman also had four multi-hit games, posted a team-best .842 slugging percentage and added a .474 on-base percentage.
Lobban Matches Career-High With 8K Effort In Win At Holy Cross
- Junior Brendan Lobban tied a career-high with eight strikeouts in 6.0 innings of work in an 8-2 win at Holy Cross (March 20).
- Lobban had at least one strikeout in five of his six innings of work, including two each in the second, third and sixth frames.
- The lefty first recorded eight strikeouts in just 3.2 innings of work in his collegiate-debut, a start against Iowa on Feb. 21, 2009.
Red Storm Swipes Seven Bags In Win Against Albany
- St. John's had a season-high seven steals, going a perfect 7-for-7, in a 10-3 win against Albany (March 19).
- Jeremy Baltz and Pat Talbut were each 2-for-2, while Joe Panik, Paul Karmas and Kyle Richardson added one apiece.
- Five of the base runners who stole a bag in the game eventually came around to score.
