Queens, N.Y. -
A fourth All-American selection provides an appropriate conclusion to the impressive track & field career of Priscilla Frederick at St. John's after the USTFCCA announced its Outdoor Track & Field All-American Recipients on Tuesday, June 12.
Frederick was a Second-Team All-American honoree in the high jump after recently placing 11th at the past weekend's NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. As a 2012 recipient, Frederick has now been named an All-American four times during her Red Storm career.
Frederick owns the St. John's indoor track & field high jump record with a jump of 1.82 meters at last year's NCAA Championships and the outdoor record with a 1.84 meter effort at the 2010 ECAC Championships. She won the high jump at the 2011 BIG EAST Indoor Championships and the 2010 ECAC Outdoor Championships. Frederick also has the second fastest 60-meter hurdle time, indoor pentathlon and outdoor heptathlon performances in school history to round out her accomplishments.
She earned four indoor All-BIG EAST, four indoor All-EAST, seven outdoor All-BIG EAST and four outdoor All-EAST selections as a member of the Red Storm. Her three All-American honors are the most for any student-athlete in school history.
