QUEENS, N.Y. - St. John's fencing head coach Yury Gelman is currently in London coaching the U.S men's saber team. STJ-TV caught up with the four-time Olympic coach for an interview via video chat on his experiences at the 30th Olympiad thus far.
In the interview, Gelman discusses senior Daryl Homer's sixth place performance in men's individual saber, the U.S. men's saber team's upcoming match with Russia, and Red Storm alum Dagmara Wozniak's upcoming competition in the women's individual saber event.
