Team Notes:
- St. John's is on a season-high five-game winning streak.
- The Red Storm went on a 20-4 run from the 8:45 mark in first half to the 15:24 mark in second half.
- St. John's forced 19 turnovers, which resulted in 18 points.
- St. John's largest lead of the contest was 22.
- St. John's held Rutgers to just one 3-pointer made.
- The Red Storm led the Scarlet Knights for all 40 minutes of play.
- It was the sixth-straight win for St. John's over the Scarlet Knights. St. John's also defeated Rutgers, 48-44 on Jan. 6 of this year.
Individual Notes:
- Senior guard Nadirah McKenith scored a game-high 21 points on 7-for-13 shooting from the field. It was the fourth time this year and eighth time in her career she has scored 20 or more points.
- Junior guard Briana Brown scored 13 points, making it her 12th game this season and 13th in her career where she has scored in double-figures. She also led the Red Strom and tied a career-high with three steals.
- Junior forward Mary Nwachukwu tied a career-high with five blocked shots.
- Freshman guard Aliyyah Handford poured in 12 points, her 14th double-digit scoring performance of the season.
