St. Johns Takes 11th Overall At The Kiawah Island Classic

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. - With temperatures dropping from 70 degrees and sunny to a brisk 30 degrees with 20 mph winds, the St. John's women's golf team rounded out the Kiawah Island Classic with an 11th place finish in the field of 36.
Leading the way for the Red Storm was sophomore transfer Anna Kim who carded a team-best 223 following her career-low round of 69 to open the event, finishing the week tied for sixth at seven-over par.
Senior Harin Lee remained consistent throughout the event, finishing with a three-over score of 75 in each of the three rounds to tie for 14th with a 225 (+9).
Rachel Carpenter matched her round-two total of 81 to finish tied for 79th in the field of 192, carding a three-day total of 237. Jennifer Neville tied for 90th overall with a 239 to round out the Red Storm's team total of 921 for the week.
Stephanie Eybers finished in a tie for 120th with a 246 while Cameron Lambertson posted a 254 as an individual to tie for 141st.
The Red Storm will return to action following spring break as it heads to Mesa, Ariz., to compete in the three-day Clover Cup on March 14-16.
