St. John's Takes 12th Place At Redhawk Invitational

TACOMA, Wash. - The St. John's men's golf team held its ground in the final round of the Redhawk Invitational on Tuesday, carding a 299 (+19) to take 12th place overall with a three-round total of 881 (+37).
The Red Storm was led by senior Ryan McCormick who answered with an even-round of 70 on Tuesday morning, finishing the two-day event with a 216 (+5) to tie for 25th overall.
Junior Obe Ayton finished not too far behind, tying for 29th with a 218 (+7) after carding his career-low with a 68 in the first round of action on Monday.
Dylan Crowley tied for 55th with a 224 (+13) while Sean Byrne rounded out the team's total with a 225 (+14) to tie for 61st. Junior Ben Ludlam matched his first-round score of 80 in the final day of competition, finishing tied for 84th after carding a 234 (+23).
With only one more competition remaining, the Red Storm will head to Raleigh, N.C., to compete in the Wolfpack Invitational on April 19-20.
