Kiawah Island, S.C. -- Senior Anna Kim and freshman Kirsty Beckwith head into the final round inside the top-50 in the standings following Monday's second round at the Edwin Watts/Kiawah Island Spring Classic in South Carolina.
Kim followed up an outstanding first day with a 79 (+7) second round to head into Tuesday's finale tied for 35th place with a score of 151 (+7).
Beckwith's 77 (+5) on Monday puts her at 153 (+9) for the tournament, two strokes behind her teammate in a tie for 49th place.
Two strokes better in its second go-around in Kiawah Island, the Red Storm improved one spot in the overall standings, jumping ahead of Radford with a second round score of 327 (+39). Overall, St. John's sits at 656 (+80) through 36 holes.
College of Charleston and Coastal Carolina jumped to first place on the team leaderboard with identical two-round scores of 589 (+13). Chatanooga is in third place with a total score of 596 (+20).
Fatima Cano of Troy currently leads the 216-player field with a score of 141 (-3).
The Red Storm tees off at 8:45 a.m. to close out tomorrow's final round.
