DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Senior Anna Kim shot a 73 (+1) to open the Lonnie Barton Invitational at the LPGA International Hills Course on Monday, topping the individual leaderboard in first place with one round to play, while St. John's is in third as a team.
The Red Storm carded a team score of 332 (+44) to trail overall leader, Albany, by nine strokes. Siena College is currently in second place with a 325 (+37).
Freshman Kirsty Beckwith is five strokes behind her teammate in third place after carding a 78 (+6).
Tied for 14th is junior Saskia Sterud after registering an 84 (+12) through the first 18 holes.
St. John's closes out the final round of the Lonnie Barton Invitational tomorrow morning.
