QUEENS, N.Y. - A year after being taken in the 15th round of the 2015 MLB Draft, Thomas Hackimer was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the fourth round (123rd overall) of the 2016 MLB Draft.

The two-time All-American and two-time unanimous first team All-BIG EAST selection made a program-record 124 appearances in four seasons with the Red Storm and went 14-5 with a 2.42 ERA and a program-record 36 saves. The righty racked up 176 strikeouts in 160.0 innings of work and surrendered just a .190 opponent average.
