Blankmeyer Announces Date for Fall Tryout

QUEENS, N.Y. - Head Coach Ed Blankmeyer has announced the date for the St. John's baseball team's annual fall tryout, as students will have the opportunity to earn a place in a program that has won a BIG EAST record eight conference championships.
All St. John's students interested in competing for a spot on a team that has produced 20 MLB Draft Picks over the last five seasons must first attend an information session on Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 2 p.m. in D'Angelo Center Room 210. This meeting is mandatory for those interested in trying out, as all participants must first be approved by the St. John's Compliance Office before stepping on the field.
The actual tryout will be held one week later on Wednesday, Sept. 14, at 2 p.m. at Jack Kaiser Stadium.
