Johnnies will tee off at 11:10 a.m. on Sunday
The St. John's women's golf team will continue its fall slate on Sunday with the Brown Bear Fall Invitational at the Ledgemont Country Club in Seekonk, Mass.
The Johnnies will tee off at 11:10 a.m. on Sunday before concluding play on Monday with a shotgun start at 9:15 a.m. on the par-72, 6,123 yard course.
The St. John's women's golf team finished strong at the Brown Bear Invitational last season with Alejandra Sanchez and Kaitleen Shee each closing out play inside the top-10 to help propel the Johnnies to a second-place finish.
Shee is coming off a runner-up showing at the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate where she fired a three-round one-under 212 to earn BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week. The Irvine, Calif., native will look to build off of that momentum on Sunday by starting in the No. 1 slot for St. John's.
Junior Linda Wang, who has also been successful for the Red Storm this season, recording three top-15 finishes will be playing as the No. 2 golfer. Andrea Sanchez, Lydia Kim and Sofie Huseby will round out the lineup for the Johnnies.
The 2018 tournament field includes host school Brown, along with St. John's, Albany, Appalachian State, Dartmouth, Fairleigh Dickinson, Lehigh, Monmouth, Princeton, Quinnipiac, Siena and Wagner.
Competing teams will be wearing pink in Monday's final round in support of breast cancer awareness.
All results will be posted on Golfstat and RedStormSports.com at the conclusion of each day.
