St. John’s Women's Golf Readies for Lehigh Invitational

The Johnnies will tee off at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday
The St. John's women's golf team readies for their final event of the fall slate as the team travels to Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa., for the 2018 Lehigh Invitational.
Coming off of title win at the Brown Bear Invitational, BIG EAST Female Golfer of the Week Linda Wang will enter Sunday's opening round as the team's number one golfer. Kaitleen Shee and Andrea Sanchez are slotted in the second and third positions, while Lydia Kim and Sofie Huseby round out the lineup for St. John's.
This will mark the Johnnies first time participating in the Lehigh Invitational since the 2012 season when the team saw all five members record top-25 finishes, helping lift St. John's to a third place showing.
The 10-team field will consist of host school Lehigh along with St. John's, Fairfield, Fairleigh Dickinson, Holy Cross, La Salle, LIU-Brooklyn, Monmouth, Navy, and Saint Francis.
St. John's will play with Navy and Lehigh, going off the 10th tee beginning Sunday at 9:30 a.m. on the par-72, 7,091-yard course. Monday's final round will also begin at 9:30 a.m. with players going off holes one and 10 based on the team standings.
Saucon Valley Country Club, founded in 1920, has grown from 18 holes and a clubhouse to one of the largest private clubs in North America. It encompasses 800 acres and consists of four courses, including the Weyhill Course, Old Course, Grace Course and Short Course.
All results will be posted to RedStormSports.com at the conclusion of each day.
