The Johnnies and the Bonnies will tip off at noon
Coming off of a four-game road swing, the St. John's women's basketball team will return home to Carnesecca Arena for a noon matchup with St. Bonaventure on Tuesday.

The meeting between the Johnnies and Bonnies will be available to live stream on ESPN3 with Ralph Bednarczyk and Sky Lindsay on the call from Queens.

Returning home for their next three games, the Johnnies will try to erase a five-game slide and pick up their second win of the year on their home hardwood.

Raven Farley paced the Red Storm on Saturday against Providence, recording a team-high 12 points on 4-of-5 shooting from the floor, including a pair of triples. The senior forward has stepped up in a big way for St. John's this season, averaging 8.0 points and a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game. Farley also leads the Johnnies in blocked shots with 1.7 rejections per contest. As a team, St. John's is averaging 6.4 blocks per game to rank third in the BIG EAST and 14th in the nation.

On the offensive front, the guard duo of Leilani Correa and Qadashah Hoppie lead the team in scoring this season with 23.0 and 18.0 points per game, respectively. Correa currently sits second overall in the conference in scoring and ranks 20th in the NCAA. The Manchester, N.J., native also sits 10th among Division I athletes in field goals made this year with 51. Dating back to last season, Correa has notched double figures in each of her last eight outings.

The Red Storm opened up the 2019-20 campaign at St. Bonaventure with a 68-56 victory. In the Red Storm's win over the Bonnies, Correa led the way with 18 points, draining seven of her 10 tries from the field. Hoppie and Kadaja Bailey both recorded double figures in the Johnnies' win over St. Bonaventure, chipping in 13 and 11 points, respectively.

St. Bonaventure enters Tuesday's contest with a record of 1-2, including 0-1 mark in the Atlantic 10. Leading the way for the Bonnies in scoring is Tori Harris with 13.7 points per game on 41.9 percent shooting from the floor. Harris also leads the squad in rebounding, pulling down 7.3 boards per game. Asianae Johnson joins Harris in double figures, boasting 12.7 points per contest on 48.6 percent shooting from the field. Johnson is also dishing out a team-best 4.0 dimes per game.
