Garziano Garners TDS Team of the Week Honorable Mention Spot

Senior tallied a goal and an assist in Red Storm’s 1-0-1 week
QUEENS, N.Y.- A day after being named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week, Jessica Garziano has received an honorable mention nod to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week.
In a win over Butler and a draw with No. 22 Xavier, Garziano tallied a goal and an assist.
Against the Bulldogs on Oct. 13, Garziano played an integral part in the 3-1 win, scoring the equalizing goal on a long-distance rocket into the top right corner of the net before assisting on the Red Storm's third goal of the contest.
The Melville, N.Y., native enters the week tied for the BIG EAST lead in assists with five and tied for fifth in total points with 11. Garziano paces the Johnnies with 33 total shots and 16 attempts on target.
Garziano and the Red Storm carries a four-match unbeaten streak into Sunday afternoon when it welcomes conference foe Marquette for its final regular season home match of 2022. Kick-off Is set for 1 p.m. and will air on the BIG EAST Digital Network on FloSports.
