St. John's Readies for BIG EAST Battle at Providence

St. John’s searches for first road victory on Sunday afternoon
QUEENS, N.Y. – St. John's women's soccer returns to action at Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium as the team prepares for a match at Providence. Kick-off against the Friars is slated for 1 p.m. and will air on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
The Red Storm enters the road tilt following a thrilling 1-1 draw against Creighton at Belson Stadium on Thursday night. The Bluejays took the 1-0 lead following a goal from Abigail Spencer in the 49th minute. With time winding down, Brooke Boyd powered in a header for the equalizing goal, helping the Johnnies salvage the conference draw. Jailene DeJesus played a ball back to Ava Collins, who threaded a cross that found the head of Boyd by the near post for the tally with nine seconds remaining in the game.
