QUEENS, N.Y. - The St. John's women's basketball team pulled away from Temple on Wednesday night at Carnesecca Arena, 66-54.
The Red Storm capitalized on an 11-0 run over the final 4:20 to claim a tight-knit contest with the Owls and move to 3-0 on the season, for the first time since 2018.

The Owls spurred 10-5 run to gain its largest lead of the game, 28-22, before an Everett triple kept the visitors' advantage at arms length. Temple notched the last bucket of the half on a mid-range jumper from Tarriyonna Gary, to take a 32-28 lead into the locker room.
