St. John’s Wins Thriller Over Boston University, 4-3

Red Storm came back from down 3-1 to beat the Terriers
The St. John's men's tennis team claimed a thrilling come-from-behind victory over Boston University in Queens on Saturday, 4-3.
With the win, the Red Storm (9-2) improved to 6-0 all-time against the Terriers (6-4) and have gotten the better of Boston University in each of the past five seasons.
The Red Storm fell behind 3-1 but were able to earn the final three points of the match to take the win.
In doubles play, Francisco Bascon and Leonardo Mileikowsky picked up their fourth win as a pair, taking down Jonah Dickson and Adrian Pawlowski on the No. 1 court, 6-3.
Boston University earned a win on the No. 2 court to even doubles play at one and took a close match on the No. 3 court to claim the team doubles point for the visitors, giving the Terriers a 1-0 lead.
Danilo Raicevic tied the match at one for the Johnnies after beating Cole Knutsen on the No. 4 singles court, 6-1, 6-3. With the win, Raicevic improved to 7-0 in singles competition this season.
The Terriers took the next two points, picking up wins on the No. 1 and No. 2 courts, giving Boston University a 3-1 advantage in the match.
Mileikowsky brought the Red Storm back within one, taking down Jonah Dickson in straight sets, 6-4, 6-1. Mileikowsky is now 4-0 this season on the No. 3 singles court.
Ryota Kaneda picked up his team-best ninth singles victory of the year to tie the match at three, earning a dominant victory over Johann Sajonz, 6-1, 6-2.
After dropping the first set to Ben Letzer, 5-7, Armando Sotelo rallied to take the next two sets on the No. 5 court, 6-2, 6-4, winning the point and completing the comeback for the Red Storm.
Up next, St. John's will host Drexel next Friday. First serve from the USTA National Tennis Center is set for 1 p.m.
