St. John's and Villanova will renew its annual tightly-contested series that sees the two programs tied 14-14-5 through 33 all-time meetings. Over the last five meetings, the Johnnies have compiled a 2-1-2 mark against their conference foe and have won the last six contests played in Queens.
Villanova will ready for its third straight BIG EAST road match and carries a 7-5 overall record and even 2-2 mark in conference competition. The Wildcats are coming off a 1-0 victory over DePaul in the Windy City last Wednesday and will play their first match in 10 days.
