The Red Storm will begin competition on Sept. 19
QUEENS, N.Y. — Head Coach Lauren Leo has announced the St. John's Women's Tennis four-event fall schedule on Wednesday afternoon.
The Red Storm will enter the season following a strong 2024-25 campaign where it went 14-7 overall and registered a 5-1 mark in BIG EAST play. Leo is set to bring back six returners, including All-BIG EAST Second Team selections Victoria Papadopoulou and Noemi Babikova.
St. John's will begin its fall slate on Long Island at the Hofstra Invitational from Sept. 19-21.
Beginning on Oct. 3 the Red Storm will travel to the Bronx for the Fordham Invitational. This will be the fourth time in five years St. John's will compete in this tournament. At this tournament in 2024, the Johnnies won seven matches, highlighted by Charlotta Buss earning a bid to the tournament's championship match.
The following weekend, the Johnnies head to the city of Brotherly Love for the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Northeast Regionals. The competition begins on Oct. 9 through Oct. 14. At last year's event the Johnnies had a strong weekend with the duo of Alexandra Nielsen and Noemi Babikova reaching the Round of 16.
To close the fall slate, the Red Storm will venture to Buffalo for the UB Indoor Invite. This will be the fourth time playing in the tournament in Western New York.
The St. John's 2026 spring dual match schedule will be announced on a later date.
