St. John’s to Travel to Seton Hall for Regular Season Road Finale

The Red Storm defeated the Pirates on Feb. 7, 67-61
QUEENS, N.Y. – The St. John's women's basketball team will travel to Seton Hall for the final road game of the regular season on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Sunday's contest will be streamed on ESPN+ with Ryder Nuesell and Jackson Shank on the call from Walsh Gymnasium.
In its most recent outing, a fourth-quarter surge came up short as St. John's (20-9, 10-8 BIG EAST) fell to Georgetown, 62-60, on Senior Night. The Red Storm rallied from behind to take a five-point lead with 3:38 to go before the Hoyas ended the game on a run.
Three Johnnies reached double figures against the Hoyas, with Brooke Moore leading the way with 15 points. Sa'Mya Wyatt chipped in 13 and Beautiful Waheed added 10.
Moore has paced St. John's in scoring 13 times this season and has recorded 18 double-digit outings. The Kennesaw, Ga., native has eclipsed the 10-point mark 20 times this year, adding to her 24-career double-figure performances. Against Georgetown, Shaulana Wagner steered the offense with five assists, registering her 22nd game with at least three assists across 26 appearances this season. The graduate student ranks second in the BIG EAST and 53rd nationally, averaging 4.7 assists per game.
For the second consecutive week, Wyatt was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, marking her third appearance on the list this season. The Powder Springs, Ga., native averaged 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists during a 1-1 stretch, highlighted by a 16-point performance at DePaul and 12 points in a victory over Butler.
St. John's and Seton Hall (18-8, 12-5 BIG EAST) are set to meet for the second time this season and the 93rd time overall on Sunday afternoon. The Red Storm hold a 52-40 advantage in the all-time series, with the teams splitting the last four matchups.
