St. John’s Falls to No. 5 TCU in Fort Worth

The Johnnies are back in action on Wednesday against Georgetown
FORT WORTH, Texas – The St. John's men's tennis team fell to No. 5 TCU, 6-1, on Sunday.
The Horned Frogs (15-5, 3-1 Big 12) secured the doubles point and went on to claim five of six singles matches to earn the victory.
After dropping the doubles point, TCU captured the first five singles contests before Semen Agynskyy provided the lone point for the Red Storm. Competing on the No. 3 court, Agynskyy battled to a three-set victory over Oliver Bonding, 6-7(1), 6-2, 10-6.
With the result, the Johnnies move to 13-5 on the season.
St. John's will return to action on Wednesday, traveling to College Park, Md., for a BIG EAST matchup against Georgetown. First serve from the Junior Tennis Champions Center is scheduled for 9:45 a.m.
