St. John’s 4x400-meter Relay Tabbed to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Red Storm mile-relay currently has the 19th best time in the East Region
NEW YORK – The St. John's track and field 4x400-meter relay members Kettia Ambrose, Nyla Henderson, Leliani Robinson and Chinenye Josephine Onourah were named the BIG EAST Female Athletes of the Week for their impressive outing at the UConn Northeast Challenge over the weekend, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The quartet ran a seasons-best time of 3-minutes, 35.36 seconds to secure one of two event wins for the Red Storm in Storrs last weekend.
The time currently sits first in the conference by nearly 10 seconds and the 19th best performance by a Division I "A" relay in the East Region this season.
This is Ambrose, Henderson and Robinson's first athlete of the week recognition as a Johnnie and the second time for Onourah. The graduate student was last tabbed to the honor back on Feb. 6, 2024.
St. John's will look to continue its momentum this weekend at the longest running track meet in North America at the 130th Penn Relays. Competition from historic Franklin Field is set to being on April 23.
