Spring 2007: Posted a 5-3 singles record, including a 4-3 mark at the No. 1 spot ... won four of five matches from Feb. 24-March 19 ... had a 7-3 doubles record with two partners ... compiled a 2-1 record with Alison Adamski ... spent most of her doubles play with partner Ira Aleksova at the No. 2 spot, where the pair went 5-2 ... had her season ended early due to an injury.
Fall 2006: Finished the fall regionally ranked No. 18 in the East ... competed at the Columbia Invitational (Sept. 16-17) ... posted a perfect 4-0 fall record ... saw action at the No. 1 position ... recorded her first win with the Red Storm against Alexis Plukas of the University of Pennsylvania.
At South Alabama: Finished her sophomore campaign with an overall record of 15-11 ... named to the first team All-Sun Belt singles ... was named Sun Belt Player of the Week ... was a Sun Belt academic all-star ... was 13-8 in dual match play, competing at the No. 2, 3 and 4 positions ... compiled a doubles record of 1-9 and was 14-7 in the spring, teaming with Sylvanie Spangenberg mainly at the No. 2 position ... was 19-10 as a freshman in singles competition for the Lady Jags ... competed at the No. 1, 2 and 3 positions ... also compiled a doubles record of 16-14, competing at the No. 1 position mainly with Katarina Palenikova.
Personal: Daughter of Anton and Lydia Zivcicova ... has a sister, Lenka (24) ... a communications major.
Off The Court: Zivcicova chose St. John[apos]s because of its diversity, academics and location. She says the most thrilling moment in her athletic career was when she was a part of the European Team Under-14 Indoor Championship. When she[apos]s not on the court, Zivcicova enjoys listening to music, traveling, spending time with friends and playing squash. Her favorite show is Grey[apos]s Anatomy and her favorite professional athletes are Roger Federer and Martina Hingis. She was named a 2006-07 BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
