Michael DeMarco is a first-year graduate assistant in the sports marketing and promotions department.
Prior to arriving at St. John’s, Michael graduated from Iona University in May 2023 with bachelor of business administration degrees in marketing and entrepreneurship.
While at Iona, DeMarco worked in the Gaels’ athletic department. Serving as an analytics marketing intern, he helped coordinate timeouts and other fan engagement opportunities during basketball games and worked to help connect Iona athletics with its surrounding community.
While at school, the Orlando native was heavily involved in his school’s radio station, WICR, as well as the school’s Marketing Club.
Michael has also held an internship at Enterprise Holdings where he helped with the company’s marketing and promotional efforts.
DeMarco currently resides in Jamaica, N.Y., and is working towards his master’s degree in data analytics.
