Barrett, Reid Place in Top-15 at National Championships

Barrett, St. John?s current 400m record holder, placed 12th in the Jamaican National Championships in Kingston, Jamaica, clocking 46.84. In the first round of the 400m, he finished fourth in his heat with a time of 47.01, advancing him to the semi-finals.
Reid placed 15th in the 400m at the Unites States Track & Field Junior Championships held at Stanford University in Palo Alto, Calif. She posted a time of 57.12, but failed to advance to the championship finals.
LoMonaco, an assistant coach at St. John?s for the past two season, placed fifth in the discus at United States Senior Track and Field Championships with a throw of 194?5?. She now becomes part of the pool of athletes who can be picked for the Pan American team.
Also at the Senior Championships, two-time NCAA All-American Chris Graff placed seventh in the 10,000m, clocking 28:21.41. Graff won the 10-mile national championship in April with a meet record of 47:07. He is also fourth on the road running money list.
