Red Storm Baseball Doubleheader At Texas Tech Postponed

LUBBOCK, Texas - With snow flurries and a wind chill below 10 degrees, the St. John's baseball Saturday doubleheader at Texas Tech has been postponed. A Sunday doubleheader has been scheduled for 1 p.m. CST in Lubbock, as the Red Storm looks to open its 2006 season.
Friday's season-opener was also postponed due to inclement weather, as a cold front sweeping through the South Plains has left much of the region with frigid temperatures and precipitation. The schools will look to play two games on Sunday with temperatures expected to rise into the 50's, but a 70 percent chance of precipitation.
