Baseball Adds Home Game On May 12 Against Central Connecticut

QUEENS, N.Y. - Head baseball coach Ed Blankmeyer has announced that a home game has been added to the 2009 schedule. On May 12 at 5 p.m., the St. John's baseball team will host Central Connecticut in a mid-week game before the final BIG EAST series of the season, a three-game set against Notre Dame.

The game will also serve as the Senior Day for the baseball squad. The Red Storm will honor Rich Armento, Danny Benedetti, Carlos Del Rosario, Nick Luisi, Gino Matias and Kevin Watkins in a ceremony prior to first pitch.
