Cloutier Leads St. John's At Hoya Women's Invitational

QUEENS, N.Y. - The St. John's women's golf team (121-over 985) finished in ninth place overall at the Hoya Women's Invitational, hosted by Georgetown University. The three-round event was held at the Member's Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md.
Junior Renee Cloutier, 28-over 244, paced the Red Storm as she tied for 23rd. Junior Samantha Tejada had her best finish of the season, tying for 30th with a 30-over 246. Tejada carded a team-low round of 75 on the final day.
Freshman Ellen Oswald also tallied her best finish this year with a 36-over 252 to tie for 43rd overall. Juniors Lois Kim (37-over 253) and Michele Romano (41-over 257) rounded out the starting five for the Red Storm, finishing tied for 46th and 51st, respectively.
Junior Ashley Szewczuk, who competed as an individual, carded a 43-over 259 and tied for 60th overall.
