GRASONVILLE, Md. - The St. John's men's golf team jumped four spots on Sunday to place sixth at the Towson Spring Invitational carding a final round 307.
The Johnnies turned a total 621 over two rounds to sit ahead of 11 other competing programs at the Prospect Bay Country Club.
"We had a nice round today," head coach Mal Galletta said. "Particularly, our second nine, we really fought hard all the way and it helped us jump four places in the standings. We have some nice momentum headed to the tournament at Villanova."
