Minnesota dominated the field, taking the team title by shooting a 10-under 830 and beating second place Princeton by 24 strokes. Angus Flanagan of Minnesota earned medalist honors with a six-under 204, beating teammate Evan Long by three shots.
Following a solid performance through the first two rounds, sophomore Tyler Gerbavsits rounded out his weekend tied for 13th place with a seven-over 217. The Huntington product tacked on a pair of birdies on the 6th and 16th holes to counteract bogeys on the holes prior.

Sophomore Jack Simon recorded a two-over 38 on the back nine, including birdies on the 11th and 16th holes before closing out his round with a pair of par shots.
Gerald Mackedon and Joseph Busiello hit even-par on the fifth and 13-15th holes, finishing with scores of 226 and 232 to wrap up the MacDonald Cup.
As a team, the Red Storm finished in eighth place, recording a three-round total of 880 (+40).
The Red Storm will turn around quickly and head to Pennsylvania for the Wildcat Fall Invitational at the White Manor Country Club on Sept. 30-Oct. 1.
The Johnnies showed success in Villanova's 2018 fall home event with a pair of top-15 finishers. Mackedon finished last season's invitational with a score of one-over 216 (71-73-72) to stand in a tie for 4th place. Simon turned in a seven-over 220, including a level-par 71, to tie for 15th.
