Kick-off between the Johnnies and the Pirates is slated for 1 p.m. The game will be produced live by SJU-TV and can be viewed on ESPN3, available on the ESPN.com/watch and ESPN app. Drew Casey will have the call from Queens.
The Johnnies enter Sunday's contest on the heels of a 1-0 overtime victory over Villanova on Thursday night. Freshman Frederique St.-Jean became the second rookie to find the back of the net for St. John's this season, as the Quebec, Canada, native converted on the game-winning goal in the 100th minute to down the Wildcats at Belson Stadium.
Between the pipes, Naya Lipkens picked up her third shutout in four opportunities this season. Lipkens, who was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, made five saves against Villanova to register her fourth-straight win of the season.
St. John's will look to remain undefeated on the season at Belson Stadium, where the Johnnies are 4-0-0 and outscoring the opposition by a combined score of 11-1.
Seton Hall comes to Queens owning a 1-1-0 record, most recently falling to conference foe Georgetown, 4-0, on Thursday. The Pirates' lone win of the season came against Saint Joseph's, as senior Cassy Harrigan netted a pair of goals to lift her team to a 2-1 victory. Harrigan, who has accounted for both Seton Hall goals this year, finished second on the squad in points with three a season ago.
St. John's is 19-5-1 all-time against Seton Hall in a series that dates back to 1994. The Red Storm has won eight-straight games against the Pirates, including a 1-0 victory last season at Belson Stadium. In the Johnnies' win over Seton Hall in 2019, Maia Cabrera recorded the game-winning goal in the 42nd minute for the first score of her collegiate career.
