The Johnnies and the Crimson will kick off at 1 p.m.
After improving to 3-0-1 on the 2021 fall campaign with a 4-0 win over Lehigh on Thursday evening at Belson Stadium, the St. John's women's soccer team will look to remain unbeaten on the season when it travels to Harvard on Sunday afternoon.
The match, which is set to kick-off at 1 p.m., will be broadcast live on ESPN+.
In all three wins this season, the Red Storm has defeated it's opponent by three or more goals. With 15 goals through four games, the Johnnies lead the BIG EAST and rank inside the top-20 on the national level. St. John's is just four scores shy of matching its goal total from all of the spring 2021 campaign.
Pacing the Red Storm offensively is Budapest, Hungary, native Zsani Kajan. The 5-foot-7 forward has found the back of the net in all but one game for the Johnnies this season. Despite not scoring in Thursday's contest with Lehigh, Kajan continues to lead the nation with seven goals. The 2021 Preseason BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year had recorded 35 goals over her Red Storm career, good enough to rank 13th in the country among active leading scorers.
Four different Johnnies found the back of the net en route to the team's lopsided victory over the Mountain Hawks on Thursday. Michelle Money, Brooke Boyd, Maia Cabrera and Ava Collins all scored for the first time this season. Money struck first for the Red Storm in the 38th minute, converting on the game-winning tally, for the first goal of her Red Storm career. The Crofton, Md., native also picked up an assist in Thursday's victory.
Naya Lipkens recorded her third clean sheet of the season against the Mountain Hawks, turning aside a trio of Lehigh attempts on goal. All three of Lipkens' wins this season have come by way of shutout.
Harvard enters Sunday's contest on the heels of back-to-back victories to open the 2021 fall season. Most recently, the Crimson defeated Boston University, 3-0, on Thursday evening. A trio of players scored for Harvard against the Terriers, as Josefine Hasbo, Jade Rose and Angela Caloia all found the back of the net. Caloia leads her team in scoring, striking twice in two games this season.
The Crimson and Red Storm will square off for just the second time in program history. St. John's will look to pick up its first win over Harvard, as the Johnnies fell to their Ivy League foe, 1-0, in the two teams' first meeting in 2017.
