St. John’s Continues Homestand against Manhattan and Wagner

The Red Storm rides a 10-game winning streak into Tuesday’s matchup against the Jaspers
QUEENS, N.Y. – Fresh off its 10th consecutive win, the St. John's baseball team (13-4) will look to remain hot this week when Manhattan and Wagner come to Jack Kaiser Stadium for back-to-back 3 p.m. midweek contests. The Johnnies will square off with the Jaspers on Tuesday, followed by a date with the Seahawks on Wednesday.

St. John's jumped out to a 10-game winning streak with its sweep of Rider over the weekend, its longest since the 2018 season. The Red Storm rattled off 12 straight victories that season, featuring conference sweeps of Villanova, Creighton and Georgetown.
The Johnnies slashed .351/.459/.540 and averaged 10.6 runs per game over the last 10 games. Of the team's 122 hits, St. John's smacked 41 for extra bases. The Red Storm pitching staff has been equally as efficient, logging a 3.46 ERA and a .234 batting average against over that stretch. The team has also converted on three save opportunities and turned 11 double plays.
