Mia Agresti and Kayla Bower Tabbed to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Senior duo played an integral role in 1-0-1 week for the Red Storm
NEW YORK – St. John's Women's Soccer seniors Mia Agresti and Kayla Bower were tabbed to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Both players played an integral role in a 1-0-1 week for the Johnnies as St. John's drew Butler on Wednesday and downed DePaul in its home finale on Saturday night, 2-0.
Agresti lands on the honor roll for the first time following a career-best performance in her finale game at Cox Family Field at Belson Stadium. The midfielder recorded her first-ever goal and an assist during the 2-0 victory over the Blue Demons. The senior recorded three points setting a new personal best.
In the ninth minute, the Monmouth Beach, N.J., native found Molly McGlame to open the scoring. In the 25th minute, Agresti received a pass from Daniela Monzon, launching a rocket of a strike from 20 yards out to tally her first career marker.
Bower earns conference recognition for the fourth time this season continuing her stellar senior campaign. The team captain logged nine saves, a 0.50 goals against average and one shutout during a pair of results. In Wednesday's draw against the Bulldogs, Bower moved into the top-10 in program history in single-season saves regisitiring six stops in the 1-1 draw. On Saturday night, the Lincoln Park N.J., native shut out DePaul despite facing 16 shots in the 2-0 triumph in Queens. The clean sheet marked the netminder's fourth of the season.
The two-time BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week leads the conference and 17th in NCAA Division I with 92 saves on the year, which marks the most by a St. John's goalkeeper since Kristin Russell in 2009.
Bower, Agresti and the Red Storm will return to action for its season finale against Creighton on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. ET.
