On the professional level, Kipp has served as the goalkeeping coach for New Jersey Sky Blue (2012-13), Boston Breakers (2011) and Chicago Red Stars (2009-10). In 2013, Kipp led Sky Blue's Brittany Cameron to the league's third-highest GAA (.940) and a playoff semifinal appearance in the inaugural season of the NWSL. For 10 days, Kipp even had the unique opportunity to work as the goalkeeper coach for the Iceland Women's National Team for the 2010 Algarve Cup, working with the squad's two goalkeepers leading up to the national event.
Kipp also has over 10 years of collegiate coaching experience after serving as the goalkeeper coach at Columbia (2012-13), Duke (2006-08, 2010), UNC-Greensboro (2005-06, 2001-03) and Iona (2003-05). In his time as a collegiate goalkeeper coach, Kipp helped lead his teams two a pair of Elite-8 appearances and a Sweet-16 appearance at Duke, three Southern Conference Championships and NCAA Tournament berths with UNC-Greensboro and a MAAC Conference Tournament appearance with Iona.
Following an impressive four-year career at UNC-Greensboro where he was named a two-time Southern Conference All-Tournament team selection and the 1998 SoConn Tournament MVP, Kipp played for two seasons on Carolina Dynamo, a USL D-3 Professional League squad where he was named the 2002 USL Goalkeeper of the Year, posting the league's lowest regular season GAA.
Off the pitch, Kipp also served as the SAAC Vice President (1997) and President (1998) as well as the UNCG Representative to the NCAA Leadership Conference (1998).
Kipp earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics with a minor in Mathematics from UNCG in 2000 after graduating Magna Cum Laude.
