PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - The St. John's men's tennis team handed Penn just its third loss of the season as the Red Storm soared to a 5-2 road victory on Friday in Philadelphia.
St. John's moves to 3-6 on the season while dropping Penn to 10-3.
Milo Hauk got things started in singles, earning a straight-set victory over Adam Schwartz, 6-2, 7-6 at No. 2.
Martin Kosut followed with a win at No. 4 over Jason Lin, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3.
Asaf Honig picked up the win at No. 5 and Mike Lampa finished with the victory at No. 6 to give St. John's four singles points.
The Red Storm earned the doubles point with wins from the Honig/Hauk squad as well as the team of Pavel Cerny and Derek Wallensteen.
The Red Storm travels to Radford on Saturday, March 20 at 10 a.m. in Radford, Va.
