With a win on Saturday, the Red Storm will clinch a first round bye in the BIG EAST Tournament and a top-5 finish for the second year in a row and the ninth time in 12 seasons of the Joe Tartamella Era.
The Red Storm fell in its last game on Tuesday in a low-scoring affair at Georgetown, 51-43. Archer recorded her ninth double-double of the year finishing with 10 points and tied a season-high 14 rebounds.
The squad's leading scorer Drake finished with a team-high 14 points marking the 23rd double-figure scoring performance of the season for the redshirt senior. The Columbia, S.C., native went 8-for-8 from the charity stripe at McDonough Arena.
Ber'Nyah Mayo matched her season-high with five steals in the nation's capital on Tuesday. Over the last five games, the senior is averaging 4.7 steals per contest. The point guard needs two more assists and five more points to become the first Johnnie to record at least 300 points, 50 steals and 100 assists in a single-season, since all-time leading scorer Aliyyah Handford during the 2015-16 campaign.
The Johnnies have excelled inside the friendly confines of Carnesecca Arena tallying a 9-2 record and eight of their last nine in the building on the year.
Saturday marks the second meeting between the two conference foes who squared off on Jan. 6 at Alumni Hall. The Red Storm clawed back from an eight-point quarter deficit to take a 55-48 decision on the road. Drake fueled the offensive effort going off for 24 points and the Johnnies logged 12 steals during the win in Providence.

Providence will play its second consecutive road game on Saturday after falling at Villanova on Wednesday night, 68-58. The Friars rallied from a 21-point deficit to cut it to single-digits but ultimately dropped the contest at Finneran Pavilion.
On the year, the Friars are 12-16 and hold a 6-9 mark in conference play under first-year Head Coach Erin Batth. Providence defends the perimeter well ranking top in the BIG EAST in 3-point field goal percentage defense holding opponents to just 27.6 percent from long-range.
