Three current staff members- Amy Marron, Samantha Masur and Samie Scaffidi were a part of the squad that went 15-4-1 and 7-1-1 in conference play.
The BIG EAST battle will be streamed on ESPN+ with Johnny Gadamowitz and Joey Jarzynka will be on the call from Cox Family Field at Belson Stadium.
The Red Storm come into the home contest off a 3-1 loss at Marquette, which witnessed the second straight career-best showing from senior goalkeeper Kayla Bower. Against the Golden Eagles, Bower recorded 10 saves, surpassing her previous career high of seven in a 0-0 draw with Seton Hall on Sept. 27.
Bower's dominance has resulted in two BIG EAST Goalkeeper of the Week nods (Sept. 1, Sept. 29) and one appearance on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll (Aug. 24). The Lincoln Park, N.J., native currently leads the conference and ranks top-25 in NCAA Division I in saves per game (5.36) and total saves (59).
On Wednesday night in Milwaukee The Red Storm took an early lead behind the first collegiate goal from junior midfielder Daniela Monzon, after sending in a strike at the seventh minute.
Telma Steindórsdóttir was tabbed to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the first time in her career on Sept. 29 after scoring the game-tying goal in the 45th minute against Providence on Sept. 24 and assisting in a shutout effort in a draw with Seton Hall on Sept. 27.
Sophomore forward Madison Mariani has spearheaded the Red Storm's scoring attack, providing a team-high five points (2 goals, 1 assist). The Richmond Hill, Ontario native has steered 13 of her team-best 14 shot attempts on target (92.9%) through 11 games.
Georgetown has claimed the last 10 meetings with St. John's dating back to 2014. The Hoyas began the 2025 campaign 8-2-2, including a perfect 4-0 start to BIG EAST play. Georgetown has outscored conference opponents 13-2 during that stretch in victories over Creighton, Seton Hall, UConn and Butler.
The Hoyas are currently ranked 15th nationally in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, their highest placement this season. In its last contest, Georgetown blanked Butler, 5-0, on Wednesday night in the nation's capital.
Following Saturday's contest, St. John's takes on Villanova at Cox Family Field at Belson Stadium on Oct. 11 at 8 p.m.
